Appliance Repair Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to join our team (will train the right Candidate). Our service area is East Volusia and some of Southeast Flagler County, FL. This is a full-time position. After completion of training, The company will provide a service vehicle company credit card for gas, cell phone, company branded work shirts and specialty tools.

Job Description:
Travel to and from customers homes for diagnosis and repairs Explain procedures and costs to the customer.

Troubleshoot and test appliances to identify problems

Diagnose and repair products using schematics and test meters

Accurately record product and customer information

Complete work orders

Research parts needed for repairs

Collect payments from customers

Pickup parts that have been ordered from a set pick up point on a regular basis
Basic requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience repairing common brands of kitchen and laundry appliances (EPA certification and sealed system experience not required but is a plus)

must be able to understand basic schematics

must understand basic electricity

must have High School diploma or equivalent

must have clean and valid FL drivers license

must be able to pass background and drug test

must be able to lift or maneuver 75 pounds

must speak English

must have basic hand tools and basic test equipment

must attend periodic training classes

Compensation will be determined by experience.
